Meaning
- Error code CH07 occurs due to operational variation between the master unit and indoor unit.
Cause
When error code CH07 occurs it means that there is a difference in operation among the master unit and indoor unit. If you witness such an issue then you have to check the temperature settings of the two mentioned units.
Troubleshooting
Reset the temperature of the indoor and master unit so that they can have a match. Unplug the mini-split for a short duration, it will reset the air conditioner if you can’t get rid of the error code.
LG Mini Split Error Codes CH 10
Meaning
- Error code CH 10 occurs due to the presence of a locked up motor.
Cause
When error code CH 10 occurs it means that the fan motor has failed to run due to which the indoor fan becomes locked. To make a confirmation check the blinking of the indoor LED which will blink once.
Troubleshooting
Replace the faulty fan motor.
LG Mini Split Error Codes CH 21
Meaning
- Error code CH 21 occurs due to the presence of a failed PCB or an over-voltage compressor.
Cause
When error code CH 21 occurs it means that excessive voltage is present which is enough to produce a short-circuit in the compressor. Moreover, this error could also mean the presence of a faulty PCB board.

Meaning
- Error code CH35 occurs due to the presence of a faulty low-pressure sensor.
Cause
The triggers for error code CH35 are:
- Blocked outdoor fan
- Refrigerant leakage
- Faulty compressor sensor

LG Mini Split Error Codes CH 67
Meaning
- Error codes CH 67 occur due to a faulty outdoor fan lock.

If error codes CH 67 occur then it means the outdoor fan motor is seized resulting in a faulty fan lock. Also check the rotation sensor circuit to make a confirmation regarding the error code.

Error Code FL or P2
Meaning
- Error code FL/P2 occurs due to a full drain pan.
Cause
If the error code FL/P2 occurs then it means the drain pan has filled with water completely. It could be due to high humidity.
Troubleshooting
Increase the air conditioner’s fan speed to improve the water drainage. Set the unit on Cool Mode and shut the windows to make the environment more temperature-controlled.
Code E4
Meaning
- Error code E4 occurs when the mini-split is on the Defrost Mode.
Cause
Error code E4 is not exactly a fault code. It occurs when the Air Conditioner enters the defrost mode and the frost is detected by the evaporator.
Troubleshooting
Just wait for the mini-split to complete the defrost cycle. This is a 10 minutes long process.
Error Code E5
Meaning
- Error code E5 occurs when the water collection tank fills up with water completely.
Cause
If error code E5 occurs then it means the water collection tank has filled up with water and there is no possibility for the water to draw out.
Troubleshooting
Remove the drain cap and then reinstall it once it starts flowing entirely.
Code F1/F2/F3
Meaning
- Error codes F1/F2/F3 occur when the unit has entered fan mode.
Cause
